Clifftop House

On a clifftop above Fowey in Cornwall, an existing house is threatened by landslips and coastal erosion. We designed a new house to replace it on a stable part of the site, facing the sea, the headlands and the boats of the nearby harbour. The kitchen, living room, study and main bedroom all take the panoramic view, with terraces to the south and a sheltered courtyard for days when the wind is too strong to sit outside.
