CAST is more than a building with studios behind closed doors; it’s a dynamic cultural and social space with a very active public programme. Cooke Fawcett helped to articulate that vision for the building and to shape the brief for its transformation from a redundant school. The project has unlocked the building’s potential to play multiple new roles in the creative life of the local community while at the same time working for our resident artists.
