Balliol College Competition

Balliol College invited us to compete for 260 new student rooms on a site around a cricket field at the edge of Oxford's medieval centre. We proposed three new quads, sized from detailed research into the proportions of existing Oxford college quads. The buildings bring clarity to the street frontages, with open sides facing the cricket field and controlled entrances to semi-private courts.
