The extension takes on the traditional form of a mansard at the front, but opting for sloping skylights in place of the traditional dormer windows. To the rear, a full-width glazed element spans from wall-to-wall above the outrigger roof extension. Zinc ties the new roof surfaces together with an understated material logic.
